Documenting CSOs GBV/VAWG interventions/activities

 

Greetings and good wishes to you. We are reaching you because you registered for the International Sysmposium on Understanding and ending Gender-Based Violence, that was organized by Afrihealth Optonet Association [CSOs Network] in Q1/2021. Please find attached the communique from the symposium.

 

Further to the above event, we intend to compile and publish the efforts/contributions of our partnerhip's/members' efforts/contributions towards ending GBV in our respective countries, counties/states, local governments and communities, as a compendium, as we continue to collaborate in our regions, while working collectively to end gender based violence. We want to include your organization's efforts in this. 

 

We request you to send us 1, 2 or 3 page(s) of narrative (as a word document to ease compilation) detailing your contributions to ending gender based violence such as advocacy visits, facts sheets published, media reports, change in gender based violence polices at local, national and or regional (all) levels, and any changes that was unplanned but was achieved following your intervention (whether credited directly to your intervention or not). What influence have you made at what level.  

 

We shall be pleased to receive your submission (any length) by 1.00 pm GMT on Thursday, 19-August-2021. 

 

Please in your report, include your organization's name and country. Please send your submission to Civil Society for Elimination of Gender-Based Violence <CS4EGBV@gmail.com> and afrepton@gmail.com, and include your organization's name and country in the subject of your reply. Please acknowledge the roles of everyone/organizations that contributed to your 

 

We shall compile and publish the submissions received, as the civil society contributions, and credit every submission accordingly.
