You are receiving this message because you registered your interest
in presenting a statement during the United Nations
2022 ECOSOC Partnership Forum, which will be held in fully virtual format
on 2 February 2022.
Time permitting, a number of selected stakeholders will be invited to
deliver a two-minute statement (no more than 300 words) at one
of the plenary segments (9.30-10:50 AM and 5:00 -5.50 AM EST).
You have been selected to deliver a statement
on plenary session 2 that will be held from 9.30-10:50
AM . Please note that, although efforts will be undertaken
to accommodate all stakeholders’ statements, this will depend on the regular
demands of this intergovernmental discussion.
IMPORTANT! Please, do confirm your interest by replying to this
email no later than Friday, 28 January.
Please, note:

Statements should not last
more than 2 minutes (no more than 300 words) and should relate
directly to the theme of the Forum “Building
back better from the coronavirus disease (COVID-19) while advancing the full
implementation of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development”. The time limit will be strictly implemented, including
through the muting of microphones once the time limit is reached.
· You will be called by your name and the organization through which you
were registered to attend the ECOSOC Partnership Forum. If your statement is
delivered on behalf of more organizations, please, refer to that on your
introduction. Please, note that, by submitting inputs in the name of
organizations you are confirming that you are authorized to do so on its/their
behalf.

Please send your complete
statement in word and pdf to naiara.costa@un.org by 31st January
(Monday) at 14:00 (EST, NY Time) so it can be shared revised and
shared with interpreters.
The plenary sessions will be held on Zoom, and call-in details will be
sent to you once you have confirmed your interest. Please do
not share the connection information with others, only the selected
speakers will be able to join on Zoom.
All other participants will be able to follow the discussions via live
stream on UN WebTV: http://webtv.un.org/ and the dedicated online event platform Whova.

Afrihealth Optonet Association is a community-focused civil society organization [CSOs]
network/think-tank of about 1000 CSOs with interests in the promotion of Health
as a state of complete physical, mental and social well-being, and
achievement/realization of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), especially
in the global South. AFRIHEALTH Network and its members are involved in Health
[Universal Health Coverage, HIV/AIDS, TB, FP/RH and Malaria - prevention,
treatment, impact mitigation, care and support]; Vaccinations/Immunizations;
